For the past 18 years, my work in private practice has focused on providing confidential, personal and empathic counselling to individuals and couples to assist them to manage personal difficulties and life's challenges. I enjoy assisting people to effectively manage stress, anxiety and depression, improve relationships, encourage positive parenting, manage perinatal depression and anxiety and implement strategies to positively adjust to life transitions: relocation, redundancy or retirement and health matters: cardiac illness and diabetes. I assist people experiencing challenges in the workplace and encourage strategies to enhance work/life balance, manage workplace stress and develop assertive communication skills. I am an accredited MBTI facilitator, provide career counselling and psychometric testing for organisational employee selection. I assist doctors with their preparation and presentation for medical examinations. I promote CBT, ACT and Solution Focused Therapy.
