I've been working in the clinical and health psychology fields since 1990, including as a teacher and supervisor in tertiary hospitals, universities and private practice settings. As a therapist, I offer a compassionate and attuned holding space for people to connect with their own innate healing capacities, supporting them to recover from past hurts and traumas in a gentle, whole hearted and supportive environment. I love to see people reconnect with skills they have lost sight of, co-create more affirming self narratives, and experiment with more nourishing ways of being, thinking, and connecting in their world. I am passionate about life long learning, both for myself and my clients. Committed to my own health and wellbeing,I have practised Iyengar yoga for over 30 yrs. I integrate a range of theoretical and therapeutic frameworks and methods in my work, including attachment theory, EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Mindful Self-compassion and CBT.
