Elana is a warm, approachable and empathic psychologist, who is motivated to assist her clients in overcoming current obstacles and making positive changes in their lives. As well as being an experienced psychologist treating clients with a broad range of problems, Elana has extensive experience working in the field of Forensic Psychology.
Elana has been practising since 2001 and has worked in government and non-government settings as well as private practice. In her private psychology practice she has experience in the treatment of adults with a range of issues that include; anxiety, depression, sleep problems, problematic alcohol and substance use, relationships difficulties, parenting support, anger, domestic violence, grief and interpersonal issues. She is well versed in trauma-informed interventions and utilises a range of therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy.
