Tarnya is the director and principal Clinical and Forensic Psychologist at NewPsych, the largest private psychology practice in the Hunter Region.
With over 31 years of experience, she has a particular interest in working with people who have experienced trauma and grief, including physical and sexual violence. She values working with people experiencing difficulties in their relationships. Tarnya has experience in working with most of the challenges that life throws at us all.
Tarnya runs training sessions for organisations, psychology students and peers.
Tarnya also writes a weekly column for the Newcastle Herald and is the psychologist the paper usually calls upon to comment on anything psychological.
Tarnya supports a team of over 70 clinicians throughout the Hunter and NSW.
