I am an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, employed as a school psychologist for 20 years, and in private practice for 23 years. I am the author of ACT FOR TREATING CHILDREN and THE ACT WORKBOOK FOR KIDS. I work with children, adolescents, young adults and parents. I am highly experienced in assessing learning difficulties, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and providing counselling. I aim to help as quickly as possible, and I am warm, kind and caring. My Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) compared Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) versus Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for adolescents. I am an approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychology. I have trained extensively in ACT and have expertise in supervising psychologists in using ACT for treating children and adolescents. I can provide counselling via Telehealth.
