Dr Sarah Pearse has over 23 years experience providing psychological assessment & treatment to young people & adults. Sarah worked in child sexual abuse in her early career, followed by 10 years at Victoria Police, and now 10 years in her private practice. Sarah has extensive experience working with PTSD & Complex Trauma, First Responder PTSD and stress, childhood abuse, sexual assault, anxiety, panic, depression, adjustment, grief & loss. Sarah is supportive, empathetic & respectful, assisting clients to safely & confidently explore & reflect on their issues & strengths. She works collaboratively with clients to develop helpful & effective strategies to improve their psychological wellbeing & achieve their goals. Sarah uses a flexible therapeutic approach, tailored to suit the needs of each client. Sarah uses strategies from Cognitive Behaviour Therapies, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma- and attachment-focussed therapies and is also trained in EMDR.
