Dr Helen Tang-Murphy, Clinical Psychologist, has 15+ years experience working with children and their parents, working in the Child Youth and Family Services across several Local Health Districts for NSW Health.
She specialises in working with parents and children (age 0-12 years) on:
- Adjustment to parenting, post natal depression
- Challenging child behaviour
- Challenging emotions, meltdowns
- Child anxiety
- Selective mutism
- Parenting in the context of concerns or diagnosed neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, ADHD)
- Adjustment to a neurodevelopmental diagnosis for the child (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD)
- School reluctance & school refusal
- Bullying
- Navigating changes to parenting in the context of parental separation
She holds a PhD in Psychology, Master of Psychology (Clinical), and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from UNSW.
She is an AHPRA board approved supervisor.
