I am an experienced psychologist with a calm, confident, and professional manner providing psychological services to individuals in Sydney and via telehealth. I have broad experience working with clients of all ages from a range of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and I am a passionate advocate for the effectiveness of psychological interventions for people experiencing difficulties with their mental and emotional wellbeing.
My style is to work collaboratively with my clients, within a safe environment, to help them enact positive change in their lives. My work has led me to develop an interest in the influence of negative life experiences, particularly those early in life, on the development of core beliefs, personality, identity, relationships, and self-esteem in adulthood. I use evidence-based approaches in my work: primarily, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) but also Motivational Interviewing; and EMDR.
