David completed an Honours degree in Psychology at the University of Western Australia then moved to Queensland to complete a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology and worked in elite swimming in the lead up to the Sydney Olympics. He ventured into clinical roles before heading overseas to follow his sporting passion. Returning to Queensland in 2007, he established a private practice working with both clinical and sport clients.
David worked with veterans from Australia, and in Canada, helping with adjustment back into civilian life. Special interests include obsessive related conditions, performance, trauma, psychedelic-assisted therapy, relationship-based issues, and how judgements of our own abilities affect performance in sport, work and life.
David completed a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in 2015. Between 2014 and 2019 he worked as the Sport psychologist with the Queensland Bulls cricket team, whilst working 3 days per week in his clinical practice in Toowoomba. Inter
