I've completed a PhD in the area of mindfulness, stress, and well-being and am passionate about supporting adults and teens to lead more satisfying and meaningful lives.
Overall, I know that the most helpful thing for people is to quickly make sense of their problems, find a concrete way forward, and regain a feeling of being in control.
I use a wide range of approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Rumination Focused Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and many others, to resolve difficulties and foster resilience.
There's nothing more tragic than people suffering needlessly. It can be hard to break out of rumination, low mood, or anxious cycles by ourselves. But, psychological science has developed many powerful tools/strategies to get past issues. If you have a desire to sort through problems, or if you have questions, just reach out.
