Dr Jacques Duff completed his PhD at the Brain Sciences Institute investigating the Brain Electrical activity of people with ADHD following Neurotherapy. This technique uses EEG biofeedback to push the brain's plasticity to overcome deficits in brain activity. As a result, symptoms of ADHD can improve to the same extent as those taking stimulant medication without the side effects.
He leads a multidisciplinary team involved in investigating the underlying causes of disorders, such as ASD, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression using Quantitative EEG, which can identify what brain dysfunction underpins these issues (www.adhd.com.au). These causes can then be treated using Counselling, as well as using Neurotherapy (Neurofeedback) to improve brain function and dietary and nutritional interventions prescribed by a Clinical Nutritionist.
The clinic is also a NDIS service provider and the clinic team assesses and treats children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
