After completing an Honours degree in Psychology at the University of NSW, Ana Guinea started her career as a Researcher at the University of Sydney. She worked in the clinical psychology area at Royal North Shore Hospital, St Vincent�s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before working for the NSW Government. She has also worked for several not for profit organisations. She has completed a Master of Science in Medicine (Metabolic Health), with a focus on diabetes and obesity, in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney.
Ana provides counselling for a range of conditions, using a cognitive behavioural approach. The conditions include insomnia, pain management, cancer support, palliative care, relationship issues, grief counselling, social anxiety, perimenopausal and menopausal anxiety and depression, stress management, post-natal depression, adjustment disorder (acute reaction to recent stressful or traumatic event � including death).
