Jane has 30 years professional experience of working with older people. She is a recognised expert in the field, having worked in acute psychogeriatric inpatient settings and aged care psychiatry community teams. She worked extensively in residential aged care settings (nursing homes and hostels) across Sydney, since 1994.

She was the Director of Psychology Services at the Royal Rehabilitation Centre from 2001-2004, where she also provided Clinical Psychology services to patients in the Brain Injury Unit. In 2006 she established the first Behaviour Assessment and Intervention Service in Central Sydney (BAsIS). She has worked in part-time Private Practice since 2004, and full-time from 2010. She provides ongoing Clinical Psychology consultancy to several large Aged Care providers in Sydney.

Jane has provided lectures for Clinical Psychology Masters and Doctoral students at Macquarie, UNSW, and New England
