Vera Auerbach trained as a Clinical Psychologist completing her undergraduate training at the University of NSW, majoring in Psychology and Philosophy and then at Sydney University. She completed her clinical training at Wollongong University with a special interest in mother-baby issues.

Vera also completed a two-year counselling training with the Institute of Counselling, and a two-year Family Therapy Diploma. Vera has been an accredited Supervisor for Intern Psychologists with the NSW Registration Board since July 2006. She qulified as a Psychoanalytic Child Psychotherapist with ICAPP in 2013.

Her main focus concerns diagnostic and clinical issues. She works with children under 5 years of age, and adults wanting psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Vera is happy to see individuals (children, adolescents and adults), couples or families. Vera facilitates long-term psychotherapy and mothers groups.
