Medicare Psychologist Provider

I am conscious that coming to see a psychologist can be stressful. I will offer you a safe space to explore feelings. It will be a privilege for me to listen to you and to see that in time your resources will be mobilised. I will think about the interaction between your wider life and how you are feeling now, and I will help you to be compassionate to yourself.

I am a senior generalist psychologist. I have received two professional awards for my work and a special commendation. I have trained in general counselling and in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I run groups, see people for short-term work and for longer-term therapy. I see people with many different experiences. I also have an expertise in loss and grief and trauma, in debriefing after traumatic events and in supporting people and families in response to serious illness and disabilities. I have worked over the years with people who are very vulnerable psychologically and socially. I am also nurse trained.
