Org Psych Masterclass: Coaching and Interpersonal Skills

Overview

APS COP QLD is pleased to invite you to this coaching masterclass where you will develop and enhance your coaching expertise.

This session will equip you with advanced, evidence-based strategies to drive behavioural change, enhance leadership effectiveness, and support employees in navigating workplace challenges through the application of coaching as an organisational intervention.

You will have the opportunity to learn with Cliff Morgan, an Organisational Psychologist and active member of the Queensland COP Community. He is highly experienced in coaching and developing leaders in organisations, including in the military, commercial and non-profit sectors. You will also have the opportunity to get to know and learn alongside colleagues with a wide range of experience. This is an opportunity not to be missed to build your own skills in a practical and engaging workshop.

For Masters students, this will help you to understand how this modality applies in the workplace and you will develop and apply foundational skills in coaching that will be useful in your early career stages.

For those on the Registrar program, this workshop will be followed by a 2 hour group supervision session as part of the OPEGS program, thereby meeting requirements for the Interpersonal Skills competency.

For experienced practitioners wanting to hone coaching skills in a supportive environment, you will learn a lot from Cliff’s insights from working with leaders at all levels, across a wide range of industries.

Numbers are limited to ensure a rich learning experience for all attendees. Please register now.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • articulate what coaching is and how it differs from other 1:1 psychological interventions
  • describe how coaching fits into the broader suite of leadership and development options
  • apply further developed coaching skills in practice
