APS SA BRANCH STUDENT CAREER ASPIRATIONS AND NETWORKING EVENT

Overview

Calling all Psychology Honours students, Masters students, Early Career Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists! Have you ever wondered what the difference between different psychology endorsement pathways are? Perhaps you’re interested and uncertain about your next steps after graduation and/or registration? Are you just starting out and keen to hear from Mid-Career plus Psychologists on the opportunities that await…

This is the event for you! You will have an opportunity to meet established psychologists in different fields and find out all about what they do. We aim to have every Psychological College represented. (Clinical, General, Health, Organisational, Research, Education & Development, Forensic, Clin Neurophysiology, Sports, Masters Students and more). You will also be able to network with other Early Career and Provisional Psychologists in a relaxed atmosphere. Cocktail food and drinks are funded by APS SA Branch.

Learning Outcomes

  • Gain a better understanding of different registration and endorsement options across psychology
  • Have the opportunity to make new contacts and network with other working and studying in the field of psychology
  • Learn about the field of psychology through the knowledge of experienced psychologists

Target Audience

This event is aimed at all Psychology Students. 1st years through to honours, Masters, Early Career Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists.

Venue:

Access to the venue is in Festival Tower ground floor closest to the river side.

  • This is a Member Groups event. All communication will be sent to the registrants’ registered email address. This includes event reminders with details (such as the venue details) and any pre-event or post-event resources, if provided by the facilitators.
  • A post-event email will be sent within two weeks of the event’s completion to each registrant’s registered email address.
