APS Melbourne Branch Annual General Meeting 2026

The APS Melbourne Branch warmly invites members to attend our 2026 Annual General Meeting.

The AGM is an opportunity to come together as a branch community, reflect on the year in review, and look ahead to our priorities for the coming year. Members will also hear the outcome of committee nominations and have the opportunity to share ideas about what they would like to see from the Branch in the year ahead.

This face-to-face event will provide time to connect with colleagues, meet other members, and engage in discussion about the future direction of the Melbourne Branch.

Following the formal AGM proceedings, we are pleased to welcome Andrew Chua, who will present on AI in Psychology.

This committee-funded event has been designed to support connection, discussion and engagement within the APS Melbourne Branch community. We look forward to welcoming members on the night.

Outcomes

By attending this event, members will have the opportunity to:

Dr. Andrew Chua

About the presenter(s)

At 17 years old, Andrew Chua took time off high school to train the Victorian Government Printing Office staff how to use their computer software to transition to digital publishing in the late 1980s. Andrew has a long history of helping people use digital tools to practically improve their lives. Andrew is an active member of the APS e-psychology interest group, a psychologist of over 26 years, and a past recipient of the APS DGPP Award for Significant Contribution to the education of psychology in secondary schools, positive sexuality community education, mentoring and leadership development. As a past secondary teacher, Andrew helps make sense of complex ideas with passion and joy.

Registration includes cocktail food, and opportunity for networking.
