Overview

Burnout is often identified once it has already progressed. However, its earlier stages are frequently overlooked, particularly among individuals who continue to function at a high level while underlying capacity, recovery, and regulation begin to shift.

Join this focused webinar designed to explore the development, recognition, and management of burnout in professional settings.

It will examine:

  • how burnout develops over time,
  • drawing on contemporary clinical frameworks and applied practice, how burnout presents across cognitive, behavioural, and physiological domains,
  • how it can be differentiated from related conditions such as stress, fatigue, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue,
  • the impact of sustained occupational demand, cumulative exposure to distress, and
  • disruptions to recovery processes, with a focus on professionals working in high-demand environments.
