APS Branch
Overview
This special event offers an opportunity to connect with peers in a relaxed and supportive environment while gaining valuable insights from our guest speaker.
Guest Speaker: Professor Talitha Best
Topic: Food, Connection and Compassion in Everyday Brain and Mind Health
Complex processes shape our brain and mind’s ability to think, reason, behave, engage with sensory information, complete tasks, and form social connections. Factors such as dietary habits, and experiences of compassion and connection, all play a meaningful role in mental health and wellbeing.
Throughout the evening, Professor Best will share insights from her current research exploring how diet, nutrition, connection, and compassion influence brain and mind health in everyday life.
