A half day workshop: Getting started in AI: Practical and ethical focus

Overview

This interactive session will provide an accessible introduction to AI for psychologists, focusing on main and helpful uses in clinical settings. The content will include:

Core AI concepts and a range of tools relevant to psychologists (including AI scribes and other tools).

Demonstrations as to how AI can assist with research, client engagement, documentation, and presentations

Considerations around ethical, legal, and compliance issues

Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to participate in guided activities

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to leave with:

  • Practical strategies to reduce admin workload, improve efficiency and quality of work

About the presenter(s)

David Lopis offers AI consulting, webinars and workshops to clinicians. He is a registered psychologist and supervisor. He has presented for the APS, and multidisciplinary health groups, and supports clinicians to use AI tools ethically and effectively.

This event is aimed at psychologists and allied health professionals who are interesting in using AI in clinical settings.
