You're Invited: APS Brisbane Networking Event – June 17, 2025 - Implicit Bias in Working with Autistic People Feature talk by Monique Mitchelson, Clinical Psychologist (M.Clin.Psych, MAPS)
Join your APS Brisbane Committee for a 2025 Networking Event, designed to spark conversation, connection, and community among psychology professionals.
We're delighted to welcome Monique Mitchelson, Clinical Psychologist and passionate advocate in the field of neurodiversity, who will kick off the evening with a short talk titled “Implicit Bias in Working with Autistic People”. Monique’s insights will set the tone for meaningful peer discussion as we reflect on inclusive evidence based clinical practice. Date: Tuesday, 17 June 2025 Venue: Winterford Room, Regatta Hotel - The Grand Old Lady of Toowong Time: Doors open 6:00pm | Talk: 6:30pm–7:00pm | Networking until 8:00pm (and beyond!) Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with drinks on arrival and nourishing hors d’oeuvre served throughout the evening.
