For the first time in its 28 year history, the Annual World Conference on CyberPsychology, CyberTherapy and Social Networking (CYPSY28) will be hosted in Sydney, Australia at the luxurious Sofitel Sydney Wentworth between 15th - 17th July 2025. The theme for this years conference is CyberPsychology and Cybersecurity: Shaping Health and Society.
We welcome academics, students, industry, NGOs and government attendees to present, network and learn about how AI, Social Media, Cybercrime, Scams, Video Games, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Smartphones and all things Internet related, affect mental health and human behavior.
Hosted by IDCARE, Australia and New Zealand national identity & cyber support service; the Interactive Media Institutes Virtual Reality Medical Center San Diego USA, and the Cyberpsychology Research Group at The University of Sydney, the event brings together the worlds leading experts in Psychology and Cybersecurity to provide networking opportunities for careers in CyberPsychology, behavioural health and Cyber Security.
Our Keynote speakers are Professor Monica Whitty - world expert on relationship and romance scams - from Monash University Australia, and Troy Hunt, Australian security researcher and founder of the data breach notification service 'Have I Been Pwned'.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from multidisciplinary areas, as well as researchers from Academia, Industry and Government are invited to submit their presentation abstract before the deadline of 13th Feb 2025!!!
