Overview
Welcome to BIYOME’s Integrative Yoga Stream. In this 200-hour training, you will delve into the intricacies of the neuroplastic brain, the biome, and the genome, and gain the skills to offer somatic practices for embodied compassion, co-regulation, trauma-informed care, and deep restorative yoga. The course emphasises the physiological and psychological impacts of breathwork on mental health, cultivating presence over technique. As a 200-hour Integrative Yoga Teacher, you will be equipped to deliver practical yoga and meditation methods within a psychological framework, benefiting students, clients, and patients.
Graduates of this program will gain a strong understanding of current science and research, enabling them to bring these teachings into Allied Health Professions and Mind-Body Medicine fields. The course features highly qualified faculty, including Professors and Doctors of Psychology, Senior Lecturers and Researchers, Senior Yoga Teachers, and Yoga Therapists. Training is conducted in a serene retreat setting, a 24-acre sanctuary designed to restore, rejuvenate, and regenerate both body and mind.

About the presenter(s)
Celia Roberts is a Senior yoga and meditation teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, with strong interest in scientific research and a focus on integrative mind-body medicine. She is the founder of BIYOME (The Biomedical Institute of Yoga & Meditation) in Australia, where she leads programs in yoga therapy, meditation, and holistic health. With over two decades of experience, Celia combines evidence-based practices with traditional wisdom, emphasising the therapeutic benefits of yoga for mental health. She is dedicated to fostering compassionate, informed teaching that empowers individuals to overcome mental afflictions and suffering by exploring the root causes of mental health through bodily based somatic practices. Celia works with a strong team of Doctors, researchers, and Senior practitioners of breath, meditation and yoga.
