Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a highly effective cognitive-behavioural therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD supported by 30 years of research. CPT is specifically designed to help clients process traumatic experiences and work towards recovery and self-management. CPT can be used as a treatment modality in groups and for individuals with a range of traumatic experiences, including rape, assault, child abuse, combat, accidents and disasters.
