Frontline, emergency and community support organisations

The DRN is now a national volunteer network of over 1,000 registered psychologists who have undertaken additional training in how to support paid and volunteer workers in community, support, or frontline roles.

With thanks to Commonwealth funding, your organisation has access to this free network of professionals.

If you work or volunteer for an organisation that respond to disasters, community events, or emergencies, your workplace might be interested in contacting us at [email protected] to find out how we might be able to support you.

What do we do?

  • Wellbeing preparation, information and education sessions.
  • On-site psychosocial support and advice during disaster responses.
  • Independent wellbeing checks over the telephone to support recovery.
  • Resources which support your workers and the general community.
  • Looking for something else? We can provide advice on an evidence-informed approach to use of DRN psychologists.
