Registration includes a complimentary afternoon tea, providing an opportunity to network with colleagues, continue discussions from the presentations, and connect with representatives from local services in an informal setting.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for psychologists, provisional psychologists, psychology students and allied health professionals who are interested in understanding their role in preventing and responding to family and gender-based violence through collaboration, evidence-informed practice and community action.

Venue:
Oscar's Hotel is centrally located in Ballarat and provides a comfortable and accessible venue for this professional development event.

Parking:

  • Free on-street parking is available in the surrounding streets (subject to availability).
  • Additional public parking is available within easy walking distance of the venue.
  • Please allow a little extra time to find parking, particularly on a Saturday afternoon.

Arrival:

Registration will open approximately 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the event to allow time to sign in and settle before the presentations begin.

Please note:

  • This is a Member Groups event. All communication will be sent to the registrants’ registered email address. This includes event reminders with details (such as the venue details and zoom link) and any pre-event or post-event resources, if provided by the facilitators.
  • A post-event email will be sent within two weeks of the event’s completion to each registrant’s registered email address. This email will include the CPD certificate, and any additional resources shared during the session.

Duration of Access

The providers accordingly do not make any representation that the event counts towards attendees’ CPD learning requirements.
