Dr Mikaela Tracy is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with INSIGHT, the University of Technology Sydney Research Institute for Innovative Solutions for Well-being and Health; a practicing Clinical Psychologist; and an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer within The University of Notre Dame Australia’s School of Medicine. Formerly, she coordinated the translational research program at Uspace, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney, with a focus on developing and researching innovative mental health interventions and models of service delivery for young adults receiving inpatient psychiatric care. Her expertise lies in translational mental health research with a focus on clinical utility and co-designed interventions.
Recognising the innovation and impact of her work, she was invited to participate in WHO’s Internet-Based Field Study for ICD-11: Trait Domains in Personality Disorder, which collated expert opinion to refine the ICD-11 prior to its release; has contributed to Special Editions in the field; and regularly disseminates her research in both clinical and academic settings. Her commitment to the clinician-researcher community is reflected in her role as Early Career Research Chair for the Australian Association for CBT (AACBT) in 2023 and on-going contributions to the AACBT NSW Branch Committee and Australasian Association for Research and Treatment of Personality Disorder (AARTPD).
