Overview
Expressive Therapy Clinic offers a unique opportunity for health care professionals to participate in a self-paced 10 session program specifically designed for clients of all ages who experience ADHD symptoms. The adding of DBT Skills that are focused on addressing emotional dysregulation, impulsive control and inattention, which are often the most difficult symptoms of ADHD, are taught in this program. Manual and handouts included. (Optional creative exercises are also added and no talent is required). As an Art Psychotherapist as well as a Counsellor and DBT Consultant over the last 20 years I have found that learning skills both verbally and non-verbally can be an advantage for clients.
The knowledge gained is especially helpful for Health Care Professionals, Teachers, School Counsellors, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors, Art therapists, support workers and people interested in gaining more skills to increase general wellness for themselves and for others they work with.
