Our governance

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors governs the APS and has overall responsibility for determining the strategic direction and priorities of the Society

The APS is governed by a Board. It is supported by Board Committees and Advisory Groups  and is accountable for the performance the Society

Expert APS members contribute to APS policy and activities via board committees and advisory, reference and working groups

Constitution and generic rules

The Constitution of the APS sets out the rules governing the activities of the APS and its members, within the requirements of the Corporations Act

Annual General Meeting

The APS Annual General Meeting is held in September or October each year and allows most members to vote on Society business
