My approach is to first connect with the person in front of me, then understand what brings you to therapy, and then work collaboratively to help you feel empowered to take charge of your life, however that feels or looks for you - it truly is different for everyone.
I have helped people with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, personality disorders, trauma, relationship difficulties, anger issues, substance abuse and eating disorders. I have a special interest in helping people with disordered eating and body dissatisfaction and have completed evidence-based training. I am experienced in delivering CBT-E and SSCM.
My therapeutic approach is dynamic and personal. I use a combination of CBT, ACT, DBT, psychodynamic and trauma-informed therapy to ensure you receive a tailored treatment. Overall, my aim is to make therapy worth your while; that you walk away with something meaningful.
