I work collaboratively with clients and is committed to providing a compassionate and safe environment to assist clients in achieving their goals. I apply an approach that considers the complex interplay of biological, psychological and social interactions in tailoring treatment to the needs of the client.
I utilise evidence based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, along with Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and mindfulness based modalities. I am continually learning and developing my skills.
I am also a Registered Nurse and have provided healthcare to individuals across the lifespan in environments from Neonatal Intensive Care through to General Practice before becoming a psychologist. My interests include:
