Lucy Romano is a Clinical Psychologist, who is registered with AHPRA and is a member of both the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) and Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has worked in both the public and private sector in various settings.
Lucy�s experience has given her an understanding of the complexities of people�s lives and the importance of good mental health. She believes in the unique qualities of every individual and is committed to building on strengths and fostering resilience and self-worth. She focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment for clients to achieve their goals.
Her interests include working with depression, anxiety, trauma, transitional and adjustment issues, grief and loss and interpersonal difficulties. Her therapeutic approaches include mindfulness and relaxation strategies, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
