Mitchell is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who sees adults aged 18 years and older. He takes a warm and non-judgmental approach, working with clients at their own pace to address whatever might bring them in to see him.
Mitchell draws on techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. He is experienced in seeing clients from a range of different backgrounds and lifestyles, and offers support in addressing a range of challenges, including Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Anxiety (including excessive worry, social anxiety, health anxiety, specific phobias and panic), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Trauma (including PTSD), Adjustment issues (such as those relating to health, work and lifestyle changes), Stress and Coping Skills, and Grief and Loss.
