Dr Nick Richardson is a Clinical and Child Psychologist with 15 years of experience and the Clinical Director of Future Minds Psychology. He completed his clinical training at Melbourne and Monash Universities, with doctoral research on emotion regulation in adolescent depression.
Nick specialises in supporting young people through key life transitions � including school entry, adolescence, and the move into young adulthood � as well as adults navigating parenting and relationship challenges. He provides therapy for anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, school disengagement, and emotional regulation.
His approach is warm, collaborative, and developmentally informed, using evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and attachment-based interventions. He incorporates talk-based and creative methods, such as play and art. Nick also conducts developmental and cognitive assessments and provides supervision to psychologists in public and private settings.
