In working with you as a client, my goals are to create a safe space from which to support you in addressing issues of concern and improving your psychological health and wellbeing.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process. This means it involves the therapist and client combining their knowledge, experience and insight to find skills and strategies in support of living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
My understanding of psychology is largely based on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (which focuses on how our thoughts and beliefs influence our feelings and behaviours). I have also drawn on other therapeutic approaches where it is clear that these can better meet a person�s needs.
Experienced in working with adults on a range of difficulties associated with trauma and complex trauma related problems; anxiety; depression; grief, loss and life transitions; lack of self-confidence or low self-esteem.
