Racquel has over 20 years of counselling and psycho-therapeutic experience. She graduated from Macquarie University with a degree major in Psychology and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Health Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Psychology, and various shorter courses.
Racquel is experienced working with a broad range of complex issues, such as anxiety (including panic attacks), depression (including perinatal), problematic drug and alcohol use, trauma, stress, relationship / family problems, adjustment difficulties to medical conditions, such as infertility, grief and loss, life transitions and parent-infant attachment.
She is currently an on-call consultant for a workplace employee assistance organisation. She also has experience writing legal reports for those charged with criminal offences. Racquel was the Convenor of the APS Child, Adolescent and Family Interest Group from 2004-2005.
