Asawari is a clinical neuropsychologist with over 17 years of experience in major specialist health services across Melbourne. Her primary area of expertise is in assessment and diagnosis of dementias, and other causes of cognitive difficulties in older adults. She holds a senior clinical neuropsychologist position at the Alfred Health Cognitive Decline and Memory Service. She is experienced in characterising and managing cognitive difficulties in TBI, stroke, substance-related brain injury, neurological and psychiatric conditions, learning disorders and ADHD. She provides psychoeducation, cognitive skills-training, and is skilled in conducting assessments of decision-making capacity.
