Everyone is unique in what their needs are from counselling, so I am here to provide a comfortable and confidential space to work together to meet your needs. I have over twenty years experience working with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, EDs, body dysphoria and dysmorphia, grief, health, work and relationship issues. I have a special interest in Schema Therapy which draws on a number of therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including ERPT) and other client-centred therapies that are collaborative, empathic, and action-orientated, addressing the underlying issues behind depression and anxiety symptoms. I also have a keen interest in neuroscience, nutrition and exercise in relation to mental health. Where appropriate, I also incorporate body-centered approaches such as mindfulness, imagery (Schema Therapy) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). The length of time needed for ongoing sessions is something we work out together.
