Overview

You are warmly invited to an evening focused on introducing the APS Sunshine Coast psychologists to the Vipassana meditation facility at Pomona.

The night will feature a meet and greet on the welcome deck and viewing of the information panels, followed by light meal (vegetarian soup and toast) and tour of the centre. This will be followed by a documentary movie, "Doing Vipassana, Doing Time", in the meditation hall. The movie documents a 10-day Vipassana Course conducted by U.S.N. Goenka at Tihar jail in India. The centre teacher/s will be available following the movie to answer any question regarding the meditation practice.
