The APS together with the Women and Psychology Interest Group and the Perinatal and Infant Psychology Interest group is pleased to host this webinar. This webinar will provide an introduction to the challenges women face when returning to work after childbirth, with a specific focus on their mental health. This transitional period can have a profound impact on women's lives and well-being. The objective of this webinar is to explore the enablers and barriers that women face when returning to work after childbirth. Additionally, the webinar will discuss the lived experience of three psychologists who have returned to work in differing areas. Our psychologists will explore topics such as, factors that impacted their decision making when returning to work, the intersectionality of mothering and being a psychologist and the integration of values in self-care practices amongst other topics.
Level of Learning Foundational - This activity is targeted to those new to the topic.

Target Audience
This event is aimed at psychologists returning to work after maternity leave.
Duration of Access
This event will be recorded. The recording will be emailed to all registered within 2 weeks post event and available for viewing up to 90 days.

It is up to attendees to assess and determine how learning from this event aligns with the requirements of their learning plan. The providers accordingly do not make any representation that the event counts towards attendees’ CPD learning requirements.
