Practice Panel 3

Moderator: Hayley Lokan

A fairer society – what would that be, and can / should Organisational Psychologists contribute to it? – include Corporate Social Responsibility as part of the debate.

Friday 12 July 2019, 2.00pm - 3.40pm

In an increasingly complex and changing landscape, there is rising pressure on organisations and groups therein to incorporate a stronger focus on transparency, equality and fairness into business operations and team interactions.  In this thought provoking panel session, we will discuss what a ‘fairer’ society would be, drawing on themes of diversity and equity, ethical boundaries and future considerations of personal protection and the use of data.  Comprising a range of different perspectives and professional backgrounds, this panel will discuss the possible role that Organisational Psychologists could (or should?) play in helping to shape this new reality, reflecting on the impact of our active involvement as well as our scope of influence.
