We are investigating how AI-generated diagnostic prompts influence the decisions and confidence of psychologists. As AI tools become increasingly common in healthcare, understanding their effects on clinical decision-making is critical. This study uses clinical vignettes to explore how AI explainability, clinician trust, and perceived usefulness shape diagnostic judgments.
Participation Involves:
- Completing a brief series of questionnaires about your attitudes toward technology, professional autonomy, and trust in automated systems.
- Reviewing five clinical vignettes and providing a primary diagnosis and confidence rating for each.
Your responses are completely anonymous and will help inform the safe and ethical integration of AI in psychology.
Eligibility:
- Registered psychologist with AHPRA
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection (mobile devices are not recommended).
