Welcome to APS’s early career hub. This dedicated web-space provides early career psychologists with a wealth of valuable resources and information, as well as a range of networking opportunities to support the development of important professional connections.

The APS recognises the unique needs and concerns of early career psychologists as they seek to establish and build a professional identity in psychology. In addition to consultation across practice and academic domains, the APS has established an Early Career Psychology Committee made up of APS early career members interested in supporting the needs of other APS members in the early stages of their career.

The Early Career Psychology Committee

The APS Board recently approved the establishment of the  Early Career Psychology Committee (ECPC) comprised of APS members in the early stages of their career. The aims of this volunteer Committee are to engage, connect, and support early career psychologists. This Committee will also act as a channel between early career APS members and the APS to communicate current issues and concerns.
