Comment and debate about the proposed revisions to the DSM-5 during the development phase was extensive, with over 13,000 comments being received during the three rounds of consultation. The APS made a submission to the Taskforce overseeing the development of the revision and has published a number of articles to assist members to grapple with the strengths and limitations of the DSM classification system.
